The Smith Family Challenge
My Role:
Communications Specialist
My Tasks:
Graphic Design, Brand and Project Management, Communications
I contributed to The Smith Family Challenge as a Communications Specialist within the Philanthropy team, crafting key communications materials.
The Smith Family Challenge is an epic 100km, two-day off-road journey where teams of four tackle the course on foot, bike, and water, all in support of The Smith Family's mission to help young Australians achieve their educational potential. It was paramount that these materials conveyed the excitement and vibrancy of the event to attract participants.
Below, you'll find examples of the various event materials I developed to boost engagement and professionalism.
Logo Design
I created a new logo with the intention of incorporating The Smith Family’s new colour palette to ensure consistency and professionalism.
Printed Assets
I created a variety of printed assets for the event to boost engagement and professionalism. All attendees would be provided with a running bib and hat. Additonal branded materials were created and used on the day of the event.
Digital Assets
I created a variety of different digital assets also used to accompany communications towards the event. I also helped create the written communications and messaging.
Website Design
My primary objective was to establish a professional and intuitive interface through rigorous brand consistency. Beyond its function as a registration platform, the site incorporates interactive features such as a leaderboard, effectively promoting healthy competition by enabling participants to monitor their progress.
